Take 10 steps back

Sometimes we look at the difficulty of our situation and think that life just gets harder. To be honest I’ve come to realize that it’s just a matter of perspective. It’s all about taking 10 steps back:

And then looking up. Where to or what at? The  Solution to your problem. You may be working two jobs  or staying late at work; juggle between cooking, cleaning and supervising the kids or all three! You may be having hard time dealing with peer-pressure at school or fitting in. It may be studying for exams and either finding the time or getting the motivation to study that may be quite an obstacle. No matter where you are in life and how tough things are, when you take 10 steps back and see your situation in light of everything you’ve accomplished,  you’ll get a birds-eye view perspective of it!

To take 10 steps back:
1) Look at yourself- are you free from the sin you committed some time back? Acts 8:1
Are you walking the grace of God? Acts 28:1

2) Church- don’t take it out of context. That simply means not to have a negative mindset about it. Why go there thinking about how wrong people are? Don’t get offended with anyone from the church. We should all stand united as one in Christ.

3) And someone else- don’t judge anyone. You’ll never know how even one relationship could take you so far ahead in life. Prov 28:6– honesty is the best policy. Col 3:12– show the good qualities that exemplify a man of honour and a woman of integrity.

Just an extra boost of motivation!

Please do check back. I am only taking a small pause… and for some reason today and yesterday I got loads of hits! I hope this isn’t a bad time to take a breather. Nice to “meet” you… and thanks again for the encouragement. 🙂
